This week’s podcast is the first in a three-part series on the duties of Parents. The title echoes the title of an essay by the 19th century Bishop J. C. Ryle, justly famous for a lifetime of faithful ministry, his clear and incisive preaching, and his writings (particularly Expository Thoughts on the Gospels and Christian Leaders of the Eighteenth Century). In this week’s podcast, Pastor Jeffery reads the first part of this essay. The series will continue with the second half of the essay (next week), and then a conversation on the subject with Pastor Shaw.
