Leadership

Steve Jeffery

Pastor

Pastor Steve Jeffery moved to All Saints in December 2020. He previously served as Minister at Emmanuel Church in London, England, from its founding in 2009. He co-authored Pierced for Our Transgressions (2007), a defense of the doctrine of penal substitutionary atonement, and The Cross (2012), an introduction to the message of the cross. While serving as a Minister in London, he was also a volunteer Chaplain to the Metropolitan Police in London, England. He has lectured and debated in a variety of settings including universities and conferences in the UK, Europe, and America, and has appeared on Premier Christian Radio and BBC Radio 4.

Steve serves on the board of the CREC Domestic Church Planting Network, and is a board and faculty member at thReformed Evangelical Seminary.

Steve has been married to Nicole since sometime last century, and they have three adult children – Ben, Becki, and Abi. Truth be told, it took them a while to get to Texas, and somehow they picked up a quirky accent along the way. But they’re very glad indeed to be here.

Before he became a Pastor, Steve used to be a scientist, and has a doctorate in physics from Oxford University. In his spare time you’ll normally find listening to jazz, playing chess, drinking coffee (in the morning), sipping scotch whisky (in the evening), or making things out of wood.

Geoff Shaw

Pastor

Pastor Geoff Shaw is the umpteenth Californian to move to the great state of Texas.  He arrived at All Saints in February 2023.  Before joining the CREC, he served in the Presbyterian Church in America as a Campus Minister (Reformed University Fellowship Santa Barbara), a Youth Pastor (Valley Presbyterian of North Hills), a Solo Pastor (Redeemer Presbyterian of Torrance), and a College Dean (Providence Christian College).

Geoff is married to Breanne (Valley girl transplant) and they have six growing children: Avery, Adam, Tatum, Johnny, Darcy and Emet.  He enjoys grilling (which he understands is not barbeque), camping, tinkering on his truck, exploring Fort Worth, wrestling with Emet, and following politics and football (not to be confused with futbol).

Gene Capone

Elder

Gene was born and raised in Cocoa Beach, Florida.  He moved to Texas for college, and upon graduation was commissioned into the USAF, which took him all over the world.  Gene met his wife, Julie, in Little Rock, in 1996 and they were married that same year.

Gene retired after 24 years of service, landing his family, which now includes 4 sons, in Fort Worth in 2013.  Gene and his family visited All Saints on their first Sunday in Fort Worth and never left. Gene became a deacon at ASPC in 2014, and a ruling elder in 2017.  On the ASPC Session, Gene serves informally as the Clerk of Session, and he also serves as the church treasurer.

Since retiring from the USAF, Gene started a second career at American Airlines, which affords his family one of their favorite things to do: travel.  Gene and Julie both enjoy and consider themselves expert tennis watchers, and can usually be found court-side at their boys’ matches.

Tony Douglas

Elder
Tony was born in Wyoming, but made it to Texas (after many stops) as soon as he could. As founding Elder, he joined ASPC with his family in 2008.  Dianne and Tony were married during Spring Break, 1982. They have been favored with nine lovely daughters and seven honorable sons (five of whom were adopted from Ethiopia and China); have been blessed by three virtuous daughters-in-law, a noble son-in law, and grandchildren… the number of which is expected to multiply, Lord willing, for many years to come.
Transportation Safety and Business Management have been the focus of Tony’s career. He studied at Stanford University in the Executive Education program and is a graduate of the World Journalism Institute Mid-Career Course. Tony’s spare moments most often include family events and making memories. He raises Belted Galloway cattle and tries to stay in the saddle on his Mustang, “Champ”.

Shawn Brandt

Deacon

Shawn Brandt is married to Candis, they have 10 children and a growing flock of grandchildren. He works for American Airlines and in his spare time you will find him working on home renovation projects or chasing his pack of new puppies.

Nate Douglas

Deacon
Nate Douglas has been a member for All Saints Presbyterian Church since its founding and was ordained as a deacon in May 2019. He and his wife, Leah have four children at varying degrees of goofiness.

Nate is a co-founder of The Oaks Tutorials, a two-day a week Christian classical tutorial for homeschooling families which meets at All Saints Presbyterian Church

Nate enjoys fellowship with others and sharing beverages made from coffee, barley and corn.

Noah Douglas

Deacon

Noah Douglas has been a member of ASPC since its founding. Noah and his wife Henri have been blessed with three children. He works as an estimator for a commercial construction company. When he’s not working, he spends his spare time reading and playing with his kids.

Justin Durst

Deacon

Justin and his wife Alicia were married in the American wine country and have three boys who make them laugh and/or smile everyday. They first came to All Saints for the December 2019 Lessons and Carols Service. Justin is a Branch Manager for a steel distributor and enjoys getting to work with all sorts of people. Some of Justin’s favorite things to do are share a glass of wine with Alicia, sit outside on a humid night in the summer with the family, table fellowship, and learn about God’s creation.

Brandon Herrera

Deacon

Brandon is married to Serene, and has worked in the finance industry for the better part of two decades. Together, they cherish a lively household filled with their six wonderful children and two dogs.

In their leisure moments, Brandon and Serene enjoy extending hospitality, opening their home for gatherings big or small. Family vacations hold a special place in their hearts, as they explore and create lasting memories in beloved destinations like Padre Island and The San Antonio River Walk.
